Workshops & Events

  • A program to learn about the foundations and attitudinal of mindfulness through focused practice on breath, thoughts, emotions, movement, communication, eating, and choices. Adults, teens, children

  • A 4 week program of one class and one practice per week to educate and support (stressed) parents and caregivers on mindfulness and how to apply mindfulness practices to the work of parenting.

  • A program for adults, teens and children to experience the supportive benefits of nature while using our five senses to feel grounded and connected.

  • A program or workshop for adults to help people identify the basic tenets of communicating; listening to hear and talking to effectively respond.

  • A multi week program for adults, teens and children to teach the “Mindful Schools” curriculum in classrooms to bring mindfulness practices to students to support improved emotional regulation, focus, and empathy. Practices include breath awareness, five senses, thoughts, emotions, responding (rather than reacting), eating, empathy, and kindness.

  • A multi-week program for adults to be implemented with the Mindful Classrooms program or as an individual program to teach educators about the foundational elements of mindfulness and have time dedicated to practices. Ideal to address burn out and stress.

  • A 4-8 week program that teaches adults, teens and children athletes as well as coaches about the benefits of mindfulness applied to performance activities to support a growth mindset using the Mindful Sports Performance Enhancement program. This can be adapted to work with people in other performance activities.

  • A 4 week workshop for adults that provides an introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles (Note: this is NOT a therapy group), based in mindfulness and behavioral change, to support people in managing pain.

  • A 4-8 week program for teenagers and young adults that follows the MBSR-T protocol to provide teenagers and young adults with education about stress and how mindfulness practices (breath, awareness of thoughts and emotions, gratitude practice) can help them reduce stress.

  • A program or workshop to include classes and practice aimed to support health care providers to identify and reduce stress through the use of mindfulness practices. Emphasis is on increasing awareness of thoughts, emotions, and responding and how to relate differently to stress.

  • a 4 week program for parents/caregivers to introduce the concept of growth mindset and learn specific strategies to implement for and with children to increase psychological flexibility and reduce negative or stuck thinking. This program is based on the work in “The Growth Mindset” by Carol Dweck, PhD.

  • A multi-week program for adults that blends teaching and practicing of mindful self-compassion principles to increase support for ourselves. Beginning a gratitude practice of the big and small joys in our life can have a transformative effect on mood and relationships.

  • A workshop for adults, teens and children to learn about the benefits of mindful, easy, gentle stretching movements to support increased awareness and insights that can improve body awareness.

  • A 4-6 week workshop to teach parents/caregivers about the concepts discussed in “The Whole Brain Child” by Dan Siegel, MD and Tina Bryson, PhD. This workshop will offer the 12 concepts to help adults understand how to help kids with tantrums, fights, aggression, and non-compliance. We will use the “Whole Brain Child” book and workbook.
